Accommodation for HKDO 2013 will be provided, on request, at Y-Loft Youth Square in Hong Kong Island from Oct 31 - Nov 3. Please note that transportation will be provided to the debating venues only from and to this location. If you choose to find accommodation on your own, you are solely responsible for being on time for the debates. 

 

Participants must also note that registration fees is not inclusive of accommodation costs.

Room Costs: 

 

There are three types of rooms available at Y-Loft Square.

 

 

a) Twin Room - 700 HKD per person

 

 

b) Twin Room with Balcony - 800 HKD per person

 

 

c) Triple Room - 650 HKD per person

 

We will allocate double room options on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the low-cost Twin Room options are filled, we will begin allocating Twin Rooms with Balcony. Once this option is exhausted as well, we will begin allocating Triple Rooms. 

 

If you simply want the cheapest option available, please let us know in advance by dropping us an email.  

 

THE ROOM BOOKING PROCESS

 

To help facilitate your comfortable stay in Hong Kong, the Organising Committee will help international visitors by booking their accommodation at Y-Loft Square. International teams can find instructions on how to proceed with regards to booking accommodation on their confirmation emails sent on Aug 12/Aug 13. If you want the HKDO OC to book accommodation, please confirm your intentions by depositing the standard fee of 800 HKD per participant before 31st August 2013 to our bank accounts. (As we explained in our email, we can't be sure at this stage what kind of room we will allocate you. Any money in excess of what is required for your accommodation will be returned to you in Hong Kong Dollars during the Tournament by the Finance Team). 

 

Teams that do not pay the accommodation costs by the Aug 31 deadline risk losing their reservation.
